L’occasion de présenter le nouveau cdr « Live at OCCii » qui sort ce jour là sur Stenze Quo (voir post suivant).
Du 23 juin au 4 juillet, Buffle, Cotopaxi (Johann & Hannah from Hallo Gallo, Fyoelk, Moemlien, Stenze Quo) et City Hands (Manuel from Helbaard, Silver Ghosts) parcoureront ensemble l’Allemagne, l’Autriche, le Nord de l’Italie, la France et la Belgique. Voici les haltes de cette tournée d’été :

These friends have been playing together since forever, lazily spreading their positive-vibed kraut pop jams on labels like Lal Lal Lal, Ultra Eczema, Bread and Animals, Breaking World Records or Relax Produzioni. Floating guitars, prehistoric mini rhythms and sunny keyboard tones are the keys of their universe. As Roope Eronen from Avarus wrote: « The wind plays the flute like Buffle their casios, percussions and guitars. So we hear a pure feast of love and joy. Flux of funny sounds meet clumsy and naive repetition in a way that would make Holger Czukay hot of jealousy in his pool ». Future releases on Young Tapes, Goaty Tapes, Future Sounds, Ikuisuus… Buffle also runs the Historiaens imprint.

Cotopaxi is the playful project of Johann (aka Fyoelk) and Hannah (aka Moemlien). These two in Amsterdam living Germans have been making the Amsterdam scene thrive again by organizing concerts, art-shows and making books, prints and releasing tapes and cdrs on the Stenze Quo label. Both schooled at a young age to be free with sound they manage to create interesting compositions almost out of thin air, with great sensitivity for dynamics and balance. Their approach is warm and positive resulting in a ‘good times’ feel that will leave a smile in the hearts of the listener, so in their own way they are making the world a better place.

Revue de presse de l’édition pro-printed de Time of the dragon (and other early works) de Roope ERONEN. Oeuvre de la maison Historiaens Press, cette compilation rassemble les dessins et peintures de jeunesse de l’un des maîtres de Lal Lal Lal.
